Starlink does not provide a static IP on any plan. All Starlink connections use CGNAT, blocking inbound connections for CCTV, VPN and remote access. Speedroute connects to the Starlink LAN port and delivers a dedicated static public IPv4 — with optional 4G failover.

Setup steps
- Order Speedroute Hybrid — static IPv4 confirmed before despatch
- Connect Speedroute router WAN port to Starlink ethernet adapter
- Power on — WireGuard tunnel establishes automatically in 2 minutes
- Configure VPN, CCTV and IP whitelists using the static IP
- 4G failover SIM is pre-fitted — no extra configuration
What happens when Starlink drops?
Speedroute Hybrid includes 4G/5G failover. When Starlink goes offline the router switches to cellular automatically. WireGuard re-establishes within seconds. Your static IP does not change during failover. Monitoring centre connections remain valid with no reconfiguration.
